Sexual Musings :: Chasm

Last night I dreamed-

between us lay a field

of silent wheat at dusk.

Two feathers spun in a

helix – dissimilar and adrift.

One was lean and swift,

the other coiled and sensual.

When our eyes met across

the way, the prairie-like

chasm between us lit with

fire and hollow windsong.

But still the feathers lingered.
