Top 5 Wednesday :: Newest TBR

Y’all. I’m behind on so many book wagons, it’s like a recurring nightmare of the Oregon Trail, sans dysentery, up in here. I haven’t even fallen off said wagons, I’m still running behind them dodging oxen doo-doo with my prairie cap blowing in the wind.

I have had a few good hauls lately – mainly the kind where I’ve come home and felt sorry for myself enough to splurge on some biblio-therapy while drinking peach wine and singing Sinatra to my dog.

Therefore, I was suuuuper excited for a freebie week over at the Goodreads Top 5 Wednesday group so I could feature some of the new babies on my shelves!

(This is the part about where I go back to the wagons and say again, I’m behind on some fandoms/series. But, by golly, this little ragamuffin is catching up! Hell, I might even catch up long enough to sit down by the campfire and eat some fixins’ before we head west toward death and destruction.)

Moment of the silence for The Girl in the Tower which I received damaged in the top right corner.

In all reality, I was probably going to drop it at some point anyway.

• Any thoughts on these? Read any of them? Loved them? Despised them? Y’all on these wagons or what?

Love,

B + H

  1. THE CRUEL PRINCE! *sobs* *pretends to be okay* The book will probably break you, but in good ways. Mostly. Or it did for me, at least.

I’m still trying to get around to reading The Girl in the Tower, too. You may not be the only one who’s hopelessly behind. xD

      1. It really is. I don’t think I’ve met anyone who was in the middle. If I did, I’m not sure if I’d trust them. xD People tend to feel pretty polarized one way or the other. I can 100% understand why some people don’t like it, but … I just don’t agree with them lol.
