Top 5 Wednesday :: Revisit Favorites

  • Mom’s macaroni and cheese
  • The smell of mint
  • Men who drive flatbed trucks
  • Corgi puppies
  • First kisses
  • Cream Soda
  • The color green
  • When someone I love asks me: “How’s my girl?”

Little things. Big things. Just a few of my favorite things.

In turn, this week’s Top 5 prompt over at the Goodreads group is a few bookish (and nonbookish) faves we’d like to all revisit. As a huge YA lit fan, I was happy to see tons of Maas mentions and a lot of Potterheads. And (while those were ALSO on my list) I decided to change it up and name a few I haven’t seen as much.

• Any of these make YOUR revisit list?

Happy Wednesday!

Love,

B + H

  1. Great list! I have Crooked Kingdom on my list too!

Quick question – what did you think about the Veronica Speedwell series? I accidentally got an ARC of The Treacherous Curse and didn’t realize there were books before it too! I loved it but I’m not sure how the first two are in comparison

    1. Oh my gosh, you MUST go back to the beginning! Seriously. It’s probably one of my favorite series in the world. (The first book is actually my favorite, I think.) Let me know if you end up reading them. I’m curious to hear what you think!

    1. It didn’t “feel” like YA to me. More like a piece of prose, featuring people in their youth. It was so lyrical. That make any sense?

And he is the BEST boy! (I can only reply with that response currently because he let me sleep in an extra 15 minutes this morning. Ha!)
